Today is National Card Playing Day, and one of our favorite card games is SET. It’s fun and it’s a great cognitive workout for just about any age!
Each card in SET is unique across four features: color (purple, green or red), number (one, two or three items), shape (diamond, oval, squiggle) and shading (open, striped or solid). You form a SET when you identify 3 cards that are all the same or all different on each of the four features. That is one feature could be the same, but the others all different, or three features could be the same with only one being different, or any other combination. The only thing you know is that they won’t all be identical! How many SETS can you find in our SET challenge?
Here are the four sets that we found? How did you do?
